Creating a sensory bin doesn’t have to be expensive and overwhelming. For the month of March, I decided to go with a rainbow themed sensory bin.

This also gives me the opportunity to work on identifying colors. It was really easy to order rainbow items on Amazon. Then, as always, I made sure to include some sort of fine motor tool. This time I put in a mini shovel and scooper.

Sensory bins are a great way to encourage kids to explore. They love to learn through hands-on play. These bins are also a great way to provide an independent and quiet activity. Take a look at my other blog posts to see how I change the sensory bins every season.
