Are you looking for some Easter egg fillers that aren’t just sugary treats? I don’t have anything against some candy every once in a while, but I think it’s great to have some non-candy options. So I created a list of 15 small non-candy Easter egg fillers that can fit inside of a plastic egg!

Some items on this list won’t fit in a standard 2 inch Easter egg, so I’ve linked the larger ones on Amazon here. For reference, the ones I like to use use are about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide.

1. Temporary Tattoos

What toddler doesn’t love tattoos? These are easy to just tear off and place right into eggs.

2. Figurines

These can be tailored to whatever TV show or character your child loves at the moment. My son loves Bluey and Amazon sells different packs of figurines. Another great idea is the Fisher Price Little People.

3. BAND-AIDS

This is something that will definitely be used! You can find some cute and colorful band-aids to put in those Easter eggs or buy some with their favorite character on it.

4. bath bombs

Bath bombs are enjoyed by both adults and children. I found some cute bunny-shaped bath bombs that are perfect for Easter!

5. Puzzles

These mini puzzles feature 6 different Easter designs and come with eggs. Just a heads up: The puzzles come individually wrapped and assembled, so it may take some time filling up your eggs.

6. CRAYONS

Support a small business (like I did) by purchasing some cute Easter-shaped crayons or melt and mold your own at home. It’s a great way to reuse all those leftover broken crayons.

7. EXPERIENCE TICKETS OR TOKENS

Experiences last in their memories far longer than any toy. I love toys and I think they’re great for kids, but our home has become so cluttered with toys. You can easily print out tickets of experiences that you think your child will enjoy or buy pre-made tokens.

8. CROC CHARMS/JIBBITZ

Add some fun and personality to a pair of Crocs with charms and Jibbitz. There are tons of options out there that are sure to include your child’s favorite sport, character, food, hobby, animal etc. They can easily show off who they are…on their feet!

9. GLO PALS

This is a water-activated light up toy that makes bath time so much fun! They are the perfect size for Easter eggs.

10. HAIR CLIPS

Even though I am a #boymom I need to include these cute flower hair clips for all the little girls out there!

11. BUBBLES

A great outdoor activity for springtime is blowing bubbles. These Easter-themed bubbles come with eggs!

13. PUNCH BALLOONS

Kids can use this balloon toy to play games such as punching it while holding the rubber band in your hand, kicking it, throwing the ball, and playing ‘keepy uppy’ (a Bluey reference).

12. INFINITY CUBE

My toddler found one of these in Five Below and it kept him occupied for the longest time. I’m so happy that they have Easter ones that come with eggs!

14. PLAYFOAM

I know not everyone will be a fan of this one, but I do think it is great for sensory play. Kids can get creative with the squishy Playfoam that never dries out! Just shape it however you like, then squash it back down and start all over again.

15. MONEY

Just grab a few coins you have lying around. Not only is money the perfect size, but it also allows for kids to work on their math skills.

Please use your own best judgement to determine any potential choking hazard.

I hope this list has given you some great ideas on what to fill your toddler’s Easter eggs with this year besides candy! What are your favorite ideas from the list?

HAPPY EASTER!
