Creating a sensory bin doesn’t have to be expensive and overwhelming. For the month of June, I decided to go with an ice cream themed sensory bin.

In the summer, my son is anxiously listening for the ice cream truck to come around the neighborhood. Now he can make his own ice cream sundae! This sensory bin is not only easy to put together, but also encourages children to engage in pretend play. The ice cream scooper and spoons are the perfect tools for them to use with this sensory bin.

Sensory bins are a great way to encourage kids to explore. They love to learn through hands-on play. These bins are also a great way to provide an independent and quiet activity. Take a look at my other blog posts to see how I change the sensory bins every season.
